The unreality of it--the last decade or so--is unsettling. Though I guess its unreality has been part of the package since the beginning....<BR/><BR/>I like, too, the pace here, and the echoes ("Duqqu" / "too" and "goes" / "home" are marvelous. And this is just a brief stanza: the rest of the poem offers a conversational surface with an incredibly "crafted" or alert attention to the sound--or music--of the poem.
